Complaint I have had State Farm insurance for the last 7-8 years. I have recently had a variety of issues with my current agent and improper billing I use ****** *******'s State Farm Insurance. I have multiple accounts with the company. I have ****, homeowners, & car insurance. On ******* ** I contacted State Farm regarding met policy on a **** ****** I told **** ********* I needed to set up payments for a monthly draft she said that would be fine. She then sent me an email with her info to send account # for billing purposes. I was told my account would be drafted for the first of ********* I then responded 10 days later to **** ********* my account # and routing #. Then I received a notice my bill had not been paid on the *** of ******** so I called the office and talked to ****. **** was on the phone. My phone was dying. I asked if there was an issue why had my acct. not been paid **** said she was not sure she would have **** call me. I then proceeded to tell her my phone would be dead. I did not ever hear from them. I called the State farm office and talked to a gentleman, I asked about my account. He looked it up and said that ********* office had made the payment for the full amount of ***** **** had told me it would be **** My account will be over drafted. After getting upset I was informed there was nothing that could be done. I then asked for the name of an agent closer to my home and a supervisor. The supervisor apologized after I told him the current situation. He said however it was a training error and nothing he could do. I told him when over draft fees hit my account i will expect them to be paid by State farm for their errors!! On July 22 I spoke to **** ******* the same problem occurred we discussed the amounts for bi-annual and annual payments before I confirmed that I would like to pay for the year she had paid my account for the whole year. This is from woman who are aware of my current situation new baby and a single MOM on a budget! This has completely ruined my weekend and my account will not allow me to pay for child care because I will not have the amounts taken because it is **** more then what I was told would be taken from my account! I think people need to be made aware of their unprofessional practices. I also am aware this is not an event that has only happened to me after researching further. Thank you, ******** **** I have emails and documentation. I will be looking for a new insurance company!!
