***** ***** failed to provide the training I was promised I would receive. He has apologized and admitted fault but refuses to refund my money.
X-XX-XX I paid ********* for training to receive hypnosis certification. I began the 4 day training July 25th, 2013. We had until the second day to request refund. Me and some others in the group voiced concerns we were not learning what we had hoped. He encouraged me to stick with it and stated I was getting more from it than I realized and it would begin to click and all come together for me.During the 4 days we wasted class time waiting for people to arrive in the morning then again waiting for people after lunch and we also left early at the close of at least 2 days.By end of second day we practiced rapid inductions, I felt somewhat better and decided to stick with it. We were not provided any written materials(he stated his collegue had not forwarded him the manual and he would get it to us the next day-which he did not)There was not alot of applicable content in what we talked about during class,no outline or written material. After the four day class was over we were all(as a class)with ***** ***** supposed to do WEEKLY webinars for the next 3 months and meet back again to end the course with 4 more days beginning ********** and then take our test. We did not have weekly webinars. I had to contact him two separate occasions to receive Part 1 of our manual after the class was over(he apologized again stating he had been sick and in the bed for 3 days however posted photos of himself on facebook going on long bike rides)I requested my money back twice with no response then when he did respond just apologized again and changed the subject. At that point I decided he wasn't going to return my money I needed to make the best of it and learn what little I could. At the end of the 4 day class I gave him my credit card info and asked for more info on ordering materials.. 4 days after class ended I emailed him a THIRD time to ask him the status of my order. He stated "*****" was on vacation and he would get back to me. Long story short,he finally emailed me back with much higher prices than was intially suggested and I did not order anything except Street Hypnosis cards for **** I have still yet to receive those from back in *** of this year so I then chose to cancel my credit card because lack of communication and not knowing where my info was as well as the product I ordered. I also asked about ordering hypnosis weight loss mp3 and was never contacted back. Weekly webinar and book recommendations never happened until this past week and only because someone else in our class complained.The class finally had a webinar scheduled for *** *** **** he emailed everyone said he was having technical difficulties and approx ** min later posted on facebook he was at a bar having a beer. I know even less about hypnosis than when I began his training. I am more confused now than ever. He has admitted several emails he was at fault and did not provide what he has promised but when I then ask for my money back he changes the subject or says No Refunds and offers me addtional classes and no charge.It is excuse after excuse with him. I learned absolutely nothing from **** **** until now *** **** **** why would I accept more classes. We have just now last week received book recommendations and Part 2 of our manual that we should have gotten mths ago. I have emails I can forward you expressing my concerns to him about not receiving class materials, ordered materials, not being happy with the content. I have emails that he has admitted not providing us with the services we paid almost ****** for but would only offer us free additional classes. His excuses include: Moved to new residence, was without full internet access, hectic schedule, dealing with attorneys and shady contractors, moving into new office, family illness, his own illness, legal issues, etc. At this point I just want my money back and hopefully if he chooses not to make this right someone else will read this before signing up for one of his many seminars and losing their money

Desired Settlement
The only thing I want from him is a refund. He did not provide the training he promised. He admits that much in two separate emails sent to me. He apologizes and offers many reasons why he did not do weekly webinars, provide us with class materials in a timely manner, communicate effectively, provide us with any training in the months since our intial 4 day class (except 1 webinar and a rapport building exercise online)but refuses to consider offering a refund in light of him clearly not providing us the training he promised. There is truly a disconnect with this man. As I stated earlier, I can forward you all of my correspondence with him over the last few months that will very clearly show what I am speaking about. On Oct 6th he emailed the class this email - I can send forward it to you if you part this is from ***** ***** w ********* ********* "Hi everybody, Before I get into the class info, I owe you a huge apology.This year and especially the last few months has not been what we thought it would be. We have had small legal issues. We have dealt with shady contractors and less than cordial build in board president. Because of the hectic schedule we have been juggling, I haven't fully deli..then starts again and says Hi everybody again and picks well as family illness and more than I want to get into here. I am not telling you this to make excuses for why I havent been there for you. This has been a trying few months. We have finally moved into the new location and are working there full time now. During the same weekend, I moved my residence. I was without full internet access for several weeks due to a intial planned and failed move. Because of the hectic schedule we have been juggling, I havent fully delivered the content I had planned to give you..
so far. I ask for your forgiveness and patience." ..that email was from ***** *****.
I(******** *******) do forgive him and have been **** **** patient but I **** ** ***** ************** This is crazy that I have to go to this extent to get my money back for something ******** so clearly and freely admits he did not provide(for whatever reason). He did not provide the services promised and I deserve my money back.

This is in response to the letter written by ******** ******* in regards to training with ****** ******** ******** and receiving a refund. *** ******* attended part one of our certification training with the intention of becoming certified in ************* During the four day training, we covered much more than what *** ******* is suggesting.

During the four day training, we covered:

********* commands
***************** systems
******** building
**** foundation of the ************ Model
****** of trance
*************** hypnosis techniques
*** abreaction protocol
-Setting up pre-talk
-Many different ways of inducing trance
-Using language to redirect conscious awareness
-The different approaches to delivering suggestion

I don't expect most people to fully understand what each of those terms mean, just to say we covered more material than *** ******* suggested.

We did spend quite a bit of time on inductions. After all, if you can't induce someone into hypnosis you can't do the work with them. Everything starts with foundations and I have to work at the pace of each the class. Some classes move faster than others.

She is correct, I did not deliver the manual during the training. I prefer my students to learn through immersion and gain mastery through practice. I find most manuals to be a hinderance to the hypnotic learning process as students have tendency to want to skip ahead. I teach in a much different way than most people are used to. This work incorporates unconscious processes that teach people on a much deeper level.

The videos and webinars in between the two part class were offered as bonus material. Time between the two parts, is provided for students to practice what they have learned. Again, mastery through practice.

I have attended ***** *****'s **** ************ course which began in **** **** and finished ******** ** ***** The course started with a 4 day session at *****'s office in Nashville, and ended with a 4 day session in ********* ***** had unexpected office remodeling problems which prevented him from supplying all the example videos and video conferences he expected to provide us. Instead he will provide videos from his upcoming classes and other learning materials in the coming year, plus free tuition at any of his classes in the next year.

I have been very happy with the instruction and hands-on experiences I received in *****'s class. I learned an amazing amount about hypnotherapy and myself. I am very happy with the further material and instruction I will receive over the next year.

***** is a wonderful, experienced and knowledgeable teacher. I would have no qualms about recommending him for hypnotherapy classes.

Due to unexpected life events, we have offered everyone in the class several thousand dollars worth of additional classes and advanced trainings.

According to our policy, to which Mrs ******* agreed upon registering, we have up to one year to fulfill our obligations if we are unable to meet the in the time designated. Mrs ******* is still in our contact list and receives all the same emails as others who have completed the training. Mrs ****** still has full access to the Member's Area of Master Hypnosis training.

I am happy to discuss this further with *** ******* to reach an amicable solution
