I purchased a new home in September 2023 from Dalamar Homes. There were issues that needed attention as do most new homes, nothing major at the time. However, after making a punchlist of the issues, Dalamar addressed a couple issues, but not all, so now I'm having to fight with them to finish it. One issue was a cheap, faulty kitchen faucet which was already installed when I purchased. It is now 5 months later and the faucet finally came apart due to electrical box being ill placed and was catching on the faucet hose that ended up flooding my new kitchen cabinet and partial flooring. So now there are additional problems. Also my front door has cracks in the door jam and gaps outside the door frame where settling has caused separation from the brick. The furnace wasn't hooked up all the way and shut down causing me to have emergency calls to HVAC, plumber and electrician. I sent Dalamar's customer service many, many, many emails regarding all this and they drag it out until frustration turns to anger. I've asked for suppliers names and warranties of doors, windows, etc. so I could start dealing directly with installers about these things myself and Dalamar refuses to give them to me. I'm now having to seek legal action because, very unfortunately, once they received their money from escrow they don't want to honor their obligatory responsibilities during the first year warranty period, nor pay anything out of pocket from that point on so they'll fight you. They sure know how to make a new home purchase NOT SO HAPPY!!
