trying to close my account and they keep putting charges thru and adding $32 service charges. i've called numerous times without being helped.
after many attempts to bring my acct to a "0" balance and close it i called ************** today to see if she could close the acct and stop putting charges through. she said she cannot stop putting charges through and cannot stop adding $32 service charges. i explained that i moved out of state and am trying to close the acct but each time i put money in the acct to give it a "0" balance, they put more charges through AND service charges. today when i asked ****** to close the acct and send me the total amount due she told me she could. then she said she was going to send the acct to a collection agency and that i would have to pay THEM all kinds of fees. THEN SHE HUNG UP ON ME. Trust me - this was not a loss of connection. she LITERALLY slammed the phone down! This was rude and inappropriate. I just want to pay the overdrawn amount but it keeps changing because USCCU keeps ADDING charges.

Thank you for making us aware of Ms. ******* ******* complaint from May 21, 2013. I have researched the case in question and am satisfied US Community Credit Union employees assisted this individual to the best of their abilities, were polite, and advised Ms. ******** of how to resolve her issue. Below is a brief outline of events, I will be happy to supply more information of necessary:

5/21/2013- Ms. ******** contacted the credit union and spoke to Ms. ************** requesting to close her account. Ms. ******** inquired about charges on her account and fees she was receiving based on "these charges you guys keep putting through". Ms. ******* educated Ms. ******** the charges were return ACH fees based on ACH transactions being processed by *************. Ms. ******* informed Ms. ******* she would need to terminate the ACH agreement with ************* to stop the ACH from being processed. Ms. ******** became upset and raised her voice at Ms. ******* claiming she had called about this numerous times without resolution. Ms. ******* informed Ms. ******** she would close the account per her request and send the account to collections to accomodate Ms. ******* request to have a bill sent so she could pay the balance at a later date. Ms. ******* thanked Ms. ******** and the call was ended by Ms. ********. The phone call from this transaction occurred on a recorded line, so the record exists if needed (ref. call #XXXXXX). A review of Ms. ******** call history with the credit union shows she has called several times, but not regarding this issue. Credit union records show Ms. ******** previous calls have been resolved at the time of call.

Ms ******* threatened me saying she would send my account to collections if I didn't pay it and that this would be put on my credit report. Ms ******* DID NOT tell me she would close the account to assist me. She was extremely sarcastic in her responses. I do not consider this professional and it did not appear that she was trying to help me. She DID NOT thank me or say goodbye - she just HUNG UP ON ME while I was STILL on the line.
