Complaint Category: Failure to honor a contract or agreement

Complaint: When the car was purchased, it was agreed upon, in writing the distributor cap that was rattling would be fixed. They said they fixed, then not long after it was rattling again.

I noticed, a day after,I bought it the dashboard lights weren't working. I took it to them, ***** looked at it and said the switch was bad and a new part would be ordered. They did order the new part, but, for over a month I have been calling, and stopped in to pick the part up,(no mechanic present that day) and being told by Wayne, he would call when a mechanic was able to put the part in. I said okay, and I told them I had an issue with the door locks and the window not going up, when I stopped in a second time. It took a few weeks for the part to come in.

A week went by, and no call, I called and was told again by ****** "o Mechanic, he comes in come in Tuesdays, he is sick, but give me your number and I will call when he is in." Still, no call. This has been on going.

I called August 26th, 2013, talked to Wayne, i was told, mechanic has never been since ***** was there and I bought the car. ****** again, asked for number, I gave him it, he said "***** will be here in 20 minutes, I will have him call you, no call.

********* ***** is my name I live in ******** ***** SC, and my number I can be reached at is (XXX)XXX-XXXX. i never changed my cellphone number, that is why I have an Pittsburgh Pa, area code.

I feel I'm getting the run around, my father told me just call and email the BBB, he is a business owner and told me this was best to do!

I hope to talk and get this all resolved soon. It dangerous driving at night with a flashlight so I can see my dashboard.
