Goodwill retail sales provide training, employment, and educational opportunities to people with disabilities and other barriers to obtain employment. Revenues generated are reinvested into programs that put people to work, helping them achieve independence, dignity and strength. Goodwilll stores also provide the community with clothing, furniture, accessories and household items. Collecting, processing, and reselling donated material is still an integral part of Goodwill's method. Goodwill offers: retail training, computer input, assembly subcontracting, exporting clothing and shoes to Africa, Haiti and Mexico, selling wipers and cleaning cloths, and distributes the Amigo Wheelchair. Last year, Goodwill Industries delivered employment services to 287 individuals facing physical, mental and economic barriers to self-sufficiency.
