      My vehicle was taken to ***************** Body Shop on 01/12/24. No one called with an update to inform me on what steps I should take. Once I I inquired, it took over 2 weeks for ********************* to send over paper work so that an adjuster could come out, following that, it took and additional 2-3 weeks for her to send over an estimate to the adjuster so that they could send payment. Her excuse was she sent it but shes just seeing it didnt go through once I came into the building personally. This only happened after I physically went to the body shop and inquired about the lengthiness and no one returning any of my calls of which Id left messages each time. My vehicle is still there and every week I call Im getting the same excuse thats theres no parts, its going to paint, and its been going to paint for the last 3 weeks. Im told my vehicle will be ready and by the end of the week and after calling multiple times and no one returning my calls, I am told it would be an additional week. This entire process has been draining and ridiculous to say the least. There is no sense of urgency and I have been without my vehicle for 2 months and insurance is pressuring me due to the shops careless delays. The workers are unprofessional and not understanding.

      I had an experience at Herrin Gear that you cannot even make up if you wanted to. I had a great salesperson that made an honest error. He sold me a used truck that he believed was a 4wheel drive truck (roughly 57K). When I got it home and realized it and called him, he was quick to say he would make it right and find me a new truck. I then went back in a few days later, and the used car manager, ***** ****, tried to trade me for a 4 wheel drive truck at a terrible price...and was not willing to work with me. To say he was trying to ***** me over was an understatement. After about 15 minutes of getting nowhere with him. I told him I wanted my money back, and my trade in back, and he said "we don't write checks back to customers". I then said I would just go meet with the Attorney General and he said "you just go do what you have to do". At this point, between him trying to basically ***** me over on the deal and not admit the error that his salesperson made (who let me say again, was a great salesperson), I was in shock and frankly angry. Now...get this. He then said, and I quote, "I don't know who you are coming in here and trying to **** **** ** ******". Really? The Manager over the used car inventory at Herrin Gear Chevrolet, who is supposed to be a respectable dealership, tells me "I am trying to **** **** *** ******". Well isn't that professional? In all my 64 years, I have never even heard such a term, nor could I ever imagine ***** ****, the used car manager at a dealership at Herrin Gear, would say such a thing to a customer. I can promise you I would fire any of my employees on the spot, no matter what their level in my company was, if they EVER talked to one of my customers like that. I finally dealt with ****** *****, the General Manager, who after a 3 minute discussion of the issue, made it right and committed to write me a check back for the mistake, take the truck back, and give me back my trade in.
