Complaint: I have obtained a copy of all three of my credit reports and this company has inquiries on my credit that I do not authorize. I am in the process of trying to buy a home and this is hendering my future. Please have this company remove these unauthorized inquires and notify me in writing when they have done such. Desired Settlement: I would like this company to remove this inquiry from all three credit agencies and contact me in writing when my request is met.
I'm confused by Ms. *****'s complaint since she applied for a loan. on line, with our Hazlehurst branch location on 12/2/14. The following language appears on our online application;
Complaint: ******** I am rejecting this response because: the inquirer's authorization form was too complicated and not easily understood by the layman. I will most definatly contact the State Banking Commission and complain about a deceptive and unclear authorization form if this company does not remove this inquiry from my credit report. Business Response: Please go to 1stHeritagecredit.com to see our online application. You'll find a section titled Credit Report. There is a box that must be checked yes to continue with the application (it is a mandatory completion). The section reads; " applicant (and co-applicant if one) has (have) agreed and hereby give permission for First Heritage to access a credit report." Ms. ***** checked yes, giving us permission to pull her credit.

Complaint: I paid off a collection account May 2013 and this company hasn't updated the balance and status on my credit report. My wife have visited the local branch several times and still haven't received an updated report. I have done everything that was instructed to my wife to do as for as filing disputes etc. She have spoken with several individuals and this matter is still on going from 2 years ago and yet I'm not getting any help from the company on solving this matter.
Desired Settlement: Correct my credit report
Business Response: I have researched Mr. *******'s complaint. Our account balance of $1,050 was charged to bad debt on 11/30/10 and transferred to our Collection Center. On 5/9/13, we aggreed to settle the balance for $600. Mr. ******* paid the $600 on 5/20/13. It appears we did not notify the CB that the account was settled. We apologize for this error. We have made the correction today by reporting to the CB that the account was settled for less than the full amount and made the necessary adjustments to the account.

Complaint: I AM FILING A COMPLAINT AGAINST THIS COMPANY DUE TO FAILURE TO CORRECT INACCURACIES ON MY CREDIT FILE AND COMMUNICATE WITH ME IN A PROFESSIONAL MANNERIN THE PAST I WAS A CUSTOMER WITH FIRST HERITAGE CREDIT. THERE WERE A FEW INACCURACIES AND INCORRECT INFORMATION REPORTED ON MY CREDIT FILE WHILE I WAS A CUSTOMER. I SPOKE WITH THE COMPANY MANAGER ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS IN AN EFFORT TO RESOLVE THIS, HOWEVER SHE WAS EXTREMELY RUDE AND RELUCTANT TO HEARING MY CONCERNS. BALANCES REPORTED TO THE CREDIT BUREAU WERE INCORRECT AND CAUSED MY SCORE TO GO DOWN IN THE PROCESS. I DISPUTED THIS INFORMATION SEVERAL TIMES AND THEY HAVE FAILED TO CORRECT IT. AT THIS TIME MY REPORT SHOWS ONLY ONE 30 DAY LATE PAYMENT RECORDED IN JUNE OF 2013, HOWEVER STATUS LANGUAGE READS 61-90 DAYS LATE. THIS IS HURTING MY SCORE AS I AM CURRENTLY IN THE PROCESS OF GETTING QUALIFIED TO PURCHASE A HOME. I HAVE PAID MY BALANCE IN FULL WITH THIS COMPANY AND THOUGHT IN EFFORT TO MAINTAIN POSITIVE RELATIONSHIPS THEY WOULD CORRECT THIS INFORMATION.
