Problems with Product/Service

Complaint: I have the big money checking account with community bank, it carries special interest ratio of 0.99% if I use my debit card 12 times per month, one on-line bill pay and one direct deposit in one month ( calendar month). I did all that in April, but did not receive the 0.99% interest. I contacted them was told the statement date is from 4/1/16 to 5/1/16, but they don't count the debit card purchase I made at 4/29-4/30, which is within the billing periods.
Desired Settlement: I met all the requirement for that interest ratio, unless they change to it to use it 12 times from first of month to 28 of the month.
Mr. *** has a "Big Money" checking account product with Community Bank which pays a higher interest rate on funds if eligibility requirements are met. One of the requirements is that the customer make 12 "posted" debit card transactions per statement cycle. If any of the eligibility requirements are not met, the rate reverts back to the default rate. Mr. ***'s 12th debit card transaction was conducted on April 30, 2016, which was on a Saturday, and did not post until the following business day which was outside of the statement cycle. Based on the Truth-in-Savings disclosure provided to Mr. *** at the time of account opening, the referenced transaction on April 30th did not fall within the statement cycle and therefore did not prompt our computer system to pay the higher interest rate. Although Mr. ***'s account did not meet the requirement as outlined in our Truth-in-Savings disclosure, we always want to strive for exceptional customer service and will pay Mr. *** the higher interest rate for the month of April as a measure of good will. We will manually calculate the difference in interest based on the higher interest rate and will deposit into Mr. ***'s account and will mail him a copy of the Truth-in-Savings disclosure for his future reference.
