Local BBB CEO Receives Meritorious Service Award

Burnsville, Minnesota - September 27, 2013 - At the recently concluded 2013 International Assembly of Better Business Bureaus in Austin, Texas, the president and CEO of the Better Business Bureau of Minnesota and North Dakota (BBB), Dana Badgerow, was presented with the Better Business Bureau Operations Committee Meritorious Service Award.

The Meritorious Service Award recognizes BBB executives for their performance in the past twelve months which is substantially above and beyond the established standards and norms that enables or promotes core BBB values. One of two 2013 honorees, Badgerow was recognized for her efforts in leading a virtual BBB in the Los Angeles market.
"Given the qualifications and accomplishments of my Better Business Bureau peers nationwide, this is indeed a high honor and I accept it gratefully and humbly," said Badgerow.

After a distinguished career in the private sector, Badgerow became president and CEO of the BBB of Minnesota and North Dakota in 2009. In addition to receiving the Meritorious Service Award at the Austin Assembly, Badgerow was also named incoming Chairman of the BBB Operations Committee. Her one-year term will begin on January 1, 2014.
