Lisa Olson, Human Resources Manager, joined the BBB in July 2009 with overall responsibility for all facets of Human Resources management for the organization. Ms. Olson has 25+ years experience in human resources in a variety of roles with heavy emphasis in employee relations, policy development, recruitment, benefits, and compliance. She came to the BBB after nine years with Golf Galaxy as Manager of Employee Relations where she was responsible for providing human resources support for 42 stores in eleven states. At Golf Galaxy Ms. Olson was responsible for employee relations, policy and procedure development, overseeing company-wide recruitment efforts, development and implementation of company-wide performance management program as well as design and implementation of background check and employee hotline programs. Ms. Olson began her career at the City of Edina, MN in a generalist role and left there for a Twin Cities based Mortgage Company where she was the HR Manager before joining Golf Galaxy. She holds a Bachelor of Art degree with a major in Sociology from Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa and is a member of the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) and the Twin Cities Human Resources Association (TCHRA).
