Lisa Jemtrud is a thirteen year veteran of the Better Business Bureau (BBB). She holds a Master’s Degree in Administration and Justice with an emphasis in alternative dispute resolution and white collar crime. Lisa provides overall management, planning, budgetary oversight and leadership of the BBB’s educational Foundation. She oversees the design, delivery and quality of educational programs including the BBB Center for Character Ethics and the BBB Center for Fraud Prevention. She also spearheads partnerships and fundraising activities, and serves as BBB historian. Her past work at the BBB includes combating misleading advertising, investigating unethical business practices and conducting trend analysis. She continues to serve as the BBB’s liaison to law enforcement, business associations and educational institutions across Minnesota and North Dakota. Lisa is President of the Society of Consumer Affairs Professionals-MN Chapter and chairs the Coalition Against Marketplace Fraud, a regional law enforcement partnership. She is also active in the MN Fraud Enforcement Partnership, the MN Council of Nonprofits and the Midwest Society of Association Executives.
