As part of a larger national BBB Secure Your ID Day effort, area residents and businesses are encouraged to shred and properly dispose of their sensitive paper documents free of charge at two half-day events (held annually in spring and fall). There are several locations in our local markets: Fargo, Jamestown and Bismarck in North Dakota and the Twin Cities in Minnesota.
The public and business community are invited to bring up to two boxes or bags of documents to be shredded. Documents to be shredded should be removed from binders, but staples are okay.
