We had our roofs (house and garage) replaced in 2023 and our windows replaced in 2023/2024. Our experiences with Elysian as follow: * Douglas *********field rep, was very nice, friendly and helpful * Chuck-the "windows Specialist", also knowledgeable, pleasant and has great communication * Sarah ****- one of the "Bosses", was a very responsive, understanding and so easy to work with. During the construction periods, I have had some concerns about certain employee who I thought doesn't represent the company well and I brought up the issues with Sarah-she didn't shy away from acknowledging the short-falls. She took care of the issues. Overall, I personally had positive experiences with the company. They are friendly, professional, and helpful. Without a doubt, I would use them again

Great company to work with, timely/efficient, does a great job with a smooth process

Awful company. Tried to charge me for work they didn't do. Overcharged the cost of shingles by almost triple! Threatened me and harassed me daily when I questioned their billing practices. NEVER agree to "pay them 100% insurance proceeds". It's a scam.

I received a postcard from Elysian Construction telling me in no uncertain terms that "your roof has damage from the August 11th hailstorm that will cause leaking in the long run." I had already my roof inspected by a roofing company I trust, and there is no damage. Elysian pitched a "free" roof inspection, and a different card in the mailing said my roof "likely has damage" -- but the original card -- the first thing one sees in the mailing, is that my roof HAS damage. This is terribly misleading, and it is a lie. It clearly is intended to prey on people who are fearful and do not have other resources. This should be determined to be false advertising.

ELYSIAN IS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE TO WORK WITH! Started a roof installation in May, 2023. In August, 2023 our roof started leaking inside my home. We tried calling them 3 times w/no response to messages left. We ended up going to the company's office twice to get the work they completed corrected. The 1st meeting they were rude and incoherent, SPEAKING THEIR LANGUAGE. Representatives from Elysian came to the house unprepared to inspect their work. We MADE them go on the roof to see the lousy work they performed which Elysian agreed the roof leak was their fault. They set an appt late on Friday and missed the appointment. We had to go back to the office on Monday to confront them for the no-show. At that point we had to get the city inspector involved. After the city inspector pulled the permit they were willing to work with us to repair the roof. The permit was pulled due to the inspector agreeing that the work was horrible. More pics were exchanged and they finally fixed the roof. My bedroom suffered water damage and Elysian refuses to address this issue. Twice they have overspent on materials. Some of the materials were picked up and some remain in my garage that they will not pick up after several calls. THEY HAVE BEEN UNRESPONSIVE, SHADY, INTIMIDATING, UNPROFESSIONAL AND SHOULD NOT BE IN BUSINESS TO ROB, PREY AND DECEIVE PEOPLE!!!! DEWAYNE *****

After my project was completed, I had several neighbors ask about the company that done ***************** did excellent work, HOWEVER...Elysian Construction was an absolute NIGHTMARE to work with!!! I ABSOLUTELY and UNEQUIVOCALLY DID NOT AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE! CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE! I HAD TO CHASE THEM DOWN AT EVERY TURN TO GET INFORMATION REGARDING MY START DATE WITH DELAY AFTER DELAY, EXCUSE AFTER EXCUSE! *** STARTED NEARLY 4 MONTHS LATE AND CLEAN UP WAS NOT DONE FOR 6 WEEKS AFTER THE *** WAS COMPLETED! THEY WERE SHADY IN THE FINAL COST AND STARTED TO IMMEDIATELY HOUND FOR THE INSURANCE MONEY EVEN BEFORE THE *** WAS COMPLETE. WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH!

As is likely with any construction project involving insurance money, there was the typical back and forth to get the project scoped and scheduled that was frustrating at the onset. However, once we were officially on the books, the crew that came out was really great and the project was completed on time! One year later, we sold our house and the buyer's inspectors noted some concerns on the work that was completed on the roof. We contacted Elysian who assured us that the work was covered under a 10 year warranty but that it would take a number of weeks to get someone out to check out the concerns due to it being summer/high season. Whilst in discussions with the corporate office - Chuck Stuurop (one of their field specialists) took it upon himself to make a special trip out to not only confirm it was a minor misunderstanding and not an issue with the roof (a few of the adhesive plastic strips weren't fully removed when the shingles were installed), but also to check out our neighbor's roof (that was done around the same time) to ensure that no issues existed for them either. It was SO GREAT and SO APPRECIATED to have Chuck help us at such a stressful/time sensitive time (pending house sale) - it meant the world to us to have the human side come through vs the corporate hedging you often find with warranty situations. THANK YOU SO MUCH CHUCK - YOU ARE AMAZING!!!
