I spent over $2,000.00 to move into apartment number 304 and nothing worked. I asked for a second walk-through after I paid my deposit, move-in fee, carpet cleaning fee, and HOA fee and it was scheduled but nobody showed up for the second walk-through, they had my money, and the apartment I was moving from was rented. The second day there I wanted to take a shower and there was mold everywhere and the paint in the tub was peeling. The shower head and the drain were corroded and the shower rod was rusted to the point of falling apart. The floorboard was laid with screws not tack nails and my dog slit her pad. I made multiple req for maintenance and they never got back to me but lied in emails asking me how they did. The washer and dryer were moldy and didn't work the dishwasher stopped working the electricity in half the kitchen stopped and the sink disposal didn't work, I never had heat. I was forced to sign a release agreement to get my deposit back and move. This was the **** of my lifetime. I never got my CRP I had to request it from MNDept. of Revenue. The owner of the Unit knew what was happening and wouldn't allow the repairs to happen. They made some repairs after I moved out two months later so they could rent it. Worst ****************** in the ******************.

Good Afternoon, thank you for the submission of this information. Unfortunatly at the time of move in, certain items were not yet completed in which we then worked with **************** to have them completed for her. There was no SCAM in place as the unit was to be rented as advertised. We did work to have this all handled for her as promised however we were met with numerous occasions of refusing us to to said repairs/requests. Ultimately as per her request and review with the property owner, we agreed to let her out of her lease with a full return of the deposit and fees paid and additionally not hold her to the terms of the lease, the fees, etc. stated within the lease. Its unfortunate that it ended the way it did as we were taking care of the items requested but ultimately we respected her decision and agreed to let her out of her lease with no penatly.
