My experience with the AmericInn in ******************* was awful. We reserved two rooms under the park-fly-sleep option, meaning we would park our car at the hotel (well it's actually a remote lot at a movie theater, but details details), take a shuttle to the airport, and upon return shuttle to our car/hotel where we would stay one night.Everything was smooth until the return from the airport shuttle experience. We were ready for the shuttle and called the hotel at 5:15 pm. We were told it would be 25 minutes, which was fine. We gave our name, cell numbers, etc.At 6:00 pm I called the hotel again and was told 15 minutes - the shuttle is on it's way. At 6:15 pm we see an ******************* Americinn shuttle and flag it down. The driver says, sorry I'm full from another terminal but your shuttle is on the way - it'll be 10 minutes. At 6:30 pm I call the hotel, AGAIN, and am told the shuttle is on it's way - 10 minutes. At 7:00 pm I say enough and go upstairs to see if I can get an Uber. Told my husband to wait and call me if the shuttle arrives and I'll come down. The Uber arrived in 2 minutes - and oh my gosh it was so nice to be in a warm vehicle.We got to the movie theater to get our car and then drove to the hotel. At this point, our reason for staying overnight had passed as MOA closed soon. I was about 7:30 pm at this point, we were tired, hungry, still chilled, and just done with the Americinn. We decided to drive the 4.5 hours home. We talked to the desk agent who said tough - we have a 24 hour cancellation policy. I said yes, and you also offer a shuttle and THE SHUTTLE NEVER SHOWED UP. He said well 45 minutes is standard. I said fine - but this was 1 hr and 45 minutes and multiple calls. He said sorry - call my manager tomorrow.Was never offered reasonable resolution. No apology. Horrible service. RUN from this place.
