We purchased a spec home from Loomis in July 2022, and we have had issues with them ever since. We have had wet spots on our ceiling, frost on our baseboards, none of the doors closed properly, our steps are loose, leaky faucet, faulty sump pump, faulty thermostat, the list goes on. We have had issues with our sod from the day it was installed that we had to fix ourselves. We had to seed in many places because of the large gaps between the sod rolls, we have had to dig up several areas that were not growing and discovered there was nothing but rock underneath which we had to remove and replace with soil and new sod ourselves. They planted a maple tree in our front lawn about a foot from the driveway and an electrical box. They could care less about the amount of damage that would cause when it grows, as long as they can check the box that they installed a tree. After one year of living here the builder contacted us to tell us they are installing a new rock wall on the side of our house because the one they installed 10 months before that was not correct. They knew it was not correct and it took 10 months to come and fix it. They had to dig up our sod, remove part of our gutter and rip the siding off our house. They fixed the siding but never fixed our gutters or replaced the sod, we had to take care of that ourselves. After 14 months of living here they were grading the lot next to us and said they must grade into our lot. Now half of my front lawn is tore up. They said they would replace the sod that same day which was never done. I have heard nothing but excuses and lies from Loomis, I dont trust a word they say at this point. Everything they have said to us has not been true, from the reasons things are not being done to when things will be taken care of.
