|Jan. 31, 2014||I purchased a knife through this company, at the time of the purchase I didn't realize that I had signed up to receive 3 more knives at full price until my bank account was hit with a charge for close to $80.
Initially seeing this I thought "great, here we go with a company that won't answer their phone and I'll be stuck paying for the next 2 knives as well."
Well they did answer, the first operator I got on the phone was confrontational. After getting her manager on the phone the experience got better. We were able to come to an agreement that he would not only cancel my membership but he would refund half of the amount of the knife that had already shipped. This was a solution that I wasn't thrilled about but I felt like it was acceptable.
That was 2 days ago, today I checked my account to find that they reversed the charge completely!
I think that a company who realizes the value in treating people with respect deserves a positive review.

|Apr. 24, 2014||I got a card for a trial offer of MLB Insider with an order from MLB.com shop in December. It sounded like a great deal - a thirty-day trial, and if I like the magazine, a $12 subscription gets me four free gifts and a one year subscription including a discount at the MLB shop.
I never got a trial issue, instead I got invoices for $24 (not $12 as on the offer). When I called, I was told that they don't publish year-round so my "30-day trial" didn't include a copy of the magazine or any other benefits. Still, they agreed to the offered rate and I gave my credit card info.
I received one of the four gifts; when I called they said it can take up to 12 weeks because they ship from Toronto (!) and sent me one more, but after months after subscribing I have only received two of four gifts, no discount to the mlb shop, and a lot of frustrating encounters with their service reps who said things were taken care of and my membership was fine. Now I can't log in with my member number and assume they canceled my "free trial" that they charged me for.
Just an awful company with lousy service. Funny how they still have an A+ with the BBB but I guess it doesn't matter how many times you screw up if you pay for a BBB membership.|
