Read Complaint Details
Complaint: Vinyl incorrectly cut and installed. Resolution of problem was not timely, customer service was rude, and problem not solved but made worse. We purchased carpet and vinyl for the majority of the house we were trying to sell. We ordered brown carpet and they almost installed white. Fortunately we caught that before instillation. The vinyl was cut off-site and was measured wrong. Service men knew this at time of installation; however they still installed it. This created a seam along the doors that peeled. Furthermore the door to the crawl space was so poorly installed that it completely pealed along all 4 edges. We called them to complain and they sent someone with super glue. They told us at this time the flooring was incorrectly cut before they installed it. This did not solve the problem and we called again. We were referred to the wife of the owner; whom was never available to resolve the problem. After a month of calling and hassling them they finally set something up to come see it. After another 2 weeks they finally sent someone to repair it. We gave them a window to contact the renters in our home. They called outside the window, while my renters were at work, and then were rude. Furthermore the work to fix the problem was sub par and actually made it worse. They removed a section to move the seam; however the replacement material appears to be of a darker color and is now in the middle of a room.
Desired Settlement: Given the poor workmanship, untimely repairs, poor follow through/follow up, and rude service received by our renters we are reluctant to deal with them any further. I have not received a refund from them yet. Not sure why this complaint is closed. Perhaps I filled the form out wrong?
