    On 1/14/23 I test drove a GMC Acadia 2011 at Boardwalk Auto it drove good but had a code on dash for the *** needed service. Sales person ****** told me they know about the code they were going to get in the shop and have there mechanic look at it but they were behind on other vehicles. I told him I would buy but wanted the code looked at . He said they would get it in and if it was easy fix they would take care of it and if they could not they would take the cost off the price. I said I couldn't get the money for the car until Wednesday 1/18/23 but I could put money down to hold they said $ 200 is what they wanted down to hold. On Monday 1/ 16/23 I dropped off $200 cash they gave me a purchase agreement that ****** signed I didn't sign he said I didn't have to. They said they would get car in as soon as possible. Wednesday 1/18/23 in the morning they looked at the car he called me and said it was a probably a pinched wire causing a ground fault but they didn't have time to fix so I could buy it and deal with it later my self or bring back to them but then things changed I would have to split the cost with them if they fixed it . So I thought about it with my wife and we decided it didn't feel good any more so texted Forest told him I would pass on buying it and want my $200 Dollars back . About 5 min later his Dad called *********************** and said I was going to buy the car and if didn't I loose my $200 because they spent 3 hours having there mechanic look at it wich they said they were going to anyways. We went back forth for little bit then ***** said we can get used part and fix but they would want full price for the car original price **** on sale wiinter special was **** . This what my complaint is at no time did he say down payment was nonrefundable and I didn't sign the purchase agreement and then they started charging price around after saying they would take care of it. I want my money back and put watch or something according to review this happened before.
