Problems with Product/Service

Complaint: Salesman sold the truck as in "Excellent Condition" but the vehicle is far from that. I purchased the vehicle based on the sales representatives description of it being in "excellent" condition. I was concerned that they were selling it without warranty and still made the decision to purchase. The vehicle was represented as in excellent condition. The vehicle is far from excellent condition and in fact should not have been sold to anyone. So far I have had to repair an oil leak, coolant leak, and replace all of the high pressure lines for the power steering fluid at a cost of over $1,300. The dealership said they would "look into" what they might cover but never followed up. Today I had the truck in the shop to test the air conditioning system, which I was told worked when I bought the truck. It does not and the estimate to fix this is over $1400. It's quite obvious this vehicle is not in the condition it was described as.
Desired Settlement: At the very least I would like the dealer to fix the air conditioning system or cover the cost of this repair.

Complaint: We gave a check to hold a used vehicle until they could see if they would buy our truck. They cashed it and are requesting proof so they can repay us! My husband, ****, put a check for $100.00 to hold a 1989 GMC Sierra on Saturday, Dec.20, at 5:00. ********* said the check was just to hold the truck and would not be cashed. The deal did jot go through on Monday and when we called about the check they said it would he shredded or it could be sent back to us. The next day we found out it had cleared our bank on Dec.23. My husband called on Wednesday and they said a check would be cut and sent out! On Monday, December 29, we called to check on when we would receive it and a person named Marcus said they couldn't cut us a check until we brought in or went in proof that it had cleared our bank. They have had our money for a week and now we get a different requirement. This is very dishonest and unethical to us!
Desired Settlement: They should repay people immediately when they have made the mistake! I should not have to jump through all these hoops to get money back that they should have never had!

This is positively not the business practice I approve of. If it has not been received let me know and we will cancel the one issued and reissue a new one. **********
