In my lease, plumbing and electric are to be covered by Lubin; yet, they fail miserably! I had to pay plumber, buy toilet, and out of heat for 72 hrs.
Upon renting from Lubin, I have been completely dissatisfied with the lack of maintenance. I have repaired numerous small issues without troubling leaser; however, when the washing machine continued to back up into the sink, which in turn overflowed the dishwasher, that led to flooding the kitchen ****** at Lubin's office, stated, I should call a plumber and they would refund bill. I have the receipt for 150.00 that remains unpaid by Lubin. Also, on 9-3-2014, the plumber tried to replace guts of toilet and explained the toilet must be replaced, so 165.00 later I have purchased a toilet and installation - Lubin has not reimbursed. I did take the receipts to Evelynn who claimed she would turn in and refund amount. Never happened. In August, a maintenance man removed cracked glass out of garage and never returned; therefore, I have no window in garage and my stored belongings are being ruined by the weather. I was never given working keys to the storm doors, so they are unable to lock. I had to purchase lock for wood door, receipt for 32.95 Lubin has ignored. The office process is to give you the run around until nothing gets accomplished. They insisted on auto withdraw for rent, then ruined my bank account by taking September rent our on the 4th and again on the 8th, I went directly to the office to show their error and was informed they could not refund the over amount they stole from my account. My bank covered my part and had to pursue Lubin to settle this matter. I requested someone of corporate to call regarding my dissatisfaction. No one even bothered with a fake apology. I have emailed with **** Lubin over these matters and get told "someone will handle these matters" evidently Lubin is not that someone. Since Thursday night, November 13th, I have had no heat with weather in the twenties. The temperture rises to 42 degrees in my home during. I have emailed. I have called. I have a "work order number" that is useless. In the past, if a maintenance man does call, I have spent no less than five work days off to wait for a person who never shows or shows and does nothing. I am not a picky person, nor do I like to complain; however, I consider this a lesson learned. I will never again rent or recommend renting from Lubin Properties. I have an excellent rental history, I pay rent promptly, groom yard and keep a clean home. I do not mind repairing common mishaps, but the lack of effort on Lubin Property to even respond to huge electrical or plumbing issues is a breech of contract on their part! I would like my promised repairs to plumbing deducted from my rent, storm doors to be keyed, window replaced in garage, and my heat fixed immediately. I will continue to fulfill my obligations of the lease and Lubin should be professional regarding their part.
I have receipts which Lubin has copies of for 150.00, 165.00 and 32.95. Two plumbing and one lock (for my safety).
The office tried to call the vendor that the resident reported fixed the plumbing in the house. We were unable to verify though the company that the technician worked for that the work was completed. We have fixed all the electrical,plumbing and locks as of 01/18/2014. We appreciate the residents patience.

The company Lubin never fixed the plumbing, I had the plumbing fixed and toilet purchased, because I was verbally promised in their office by employee ******* that they would refund upon receiving the receipts. I was told the company they go through was unable to fix the issue. This discussion took place with my uncle, ****** **** the co-signer of lease agreement. He owns a pumping service and hires plumbers upon need to complete his jobs. *****'s Pumping Service cleaned the lines, hired the plumber, and purchased the supplies; however, upon giving very fair receipts (not charging for his labor) the issue was never handled. This is a mild $300.00 mater on a home that rents for 725.00/month. Upon my leaving, they will have new pipes, toilet and working drains; yet, Lubin choses not to honor their employee's word. The electrical switch was repaired after speaking to owner in fear of fire hazard. The locks were finally done yesterday (January 19th, 2015), a request made July 27th of 2014. This was only done due to my diligence to contact BBB.
