that statement could not be further from the truth. we have never nor will ever scammed anyone. customer brought vehicle to us to help locate a brake fluid leak they said was "coming from the rear" the rear wheels had fluid coming from the brake drums so we got customers approval for diagnostic time to break down the the rear wheels to find source of leak. we found rear brake wheel cylinders and rear axle seals both were leaking(axle seals worse of the two) gave customer estimate. they told us that they watched these repairs performed on goggle/you tube and wanted to do the repair themselves due to cost being more than they could afford and would just pay the diagnostic fee they approved. which was fine with us.after a week or two the customer contacted us to inform us that we missed the brake fluid leak coming from the rear brake line and wanted a refund on the check out fee they had paid us. we tried to explain to them that on a vehicle as old as theirs was that we have seen this happen before. brake system now being able to hold pressure with new wheel cylinders can easily blow out an old ***** brake line.and given the opportunity to complete the original repair and then had brake line burst open ,we would have most likely taken care of the brake line problem at little to no cost to them.that being said we felt like a refund was not warrantied because we had delivered what they were charged for and had no way of predicting future issues that a 28 year old vehicle may have. as always we went through great lengths to explain this to customer in which their response was to threatening us with court action and negative post where ever they could. this situation is unfortunate because to have them falsely claim that we purposely try to take advantage of women customers is offensive and a disappointment in the way someone will try and misrepresent the facts to try and get what they want regardless of the effects it may have on others.
