            ***** ****** *** ************* ******** **** ***** *** ***** ******* I booked an appointment to humanely euthanize my beloved dog. Two days before the appointment I called the office to prepare my invoice ahead of time so that I could pay for it and not have to worry about it on the day (or following days) after the procedure. I recieved a call back with my "quote" however I was warned that because Dr. S*** is looking to retire over the next few years, he has increased his rates for euthanasia because he does not want to do this procedure anymore. I was then quoted over $800 for my 20 lb. dog. I was completely caught off guard and upset. Why didn't anyone (including Dr. S***) say anything to me about this at the time of me booking the appointment? Had I not called a head of time I would have just been handed an absurd bill when I was most vulnerable after the procedure was already done. * **** *** ** ** ******* *** ************* ******* ***** ** ******** ******* **** *********** *** ****** ** ********* ** **** * ***** ******* *** **** * **** *********** **** *** *** ****** ****** **** ***** I am absolutely ********* in how Dr. S*** handled this situation. ** *** **** * ****** *** ** *** **** ** ******* *** *** **** ** **** *** ****** **** I would hate to see anyone else go through what I went through during an already very difficult time.
