The only way to describe our experience dealing with Norelco Cabinets would be "my worst kitchen nightmare). From the original quotation to the installation, every step of the experience has been filled with ************ and indifference. We had a flood in our home last year and Norelco stated in their quote that they would match the colour of the upper cabinets with the lower. However, after the quote was accepted they told us they could not match and would have to replace all the cabinets which meant a three month delay while new quotes were submitted and approved by the insurance company. We were finally able to meet with the kitchen designer who assured us that they couldn't get birch but maple cabinets would be the closest match to our original clear birch cabinets. Our upper cabinets were still in place and measurements were taken. We were assured that the new cabinets would be ready by the end of June. A month later, we were told the end of July. When they were finally installed, several mismeasurements had been made (microwave no longer fit and quartz counter didn't fit) and the staining/material used for the doors was nowhere near a match for our original cabinets. In addition we found out that birch cabinets are available although we were told they were not. It is now the middle of September and we are still waiting for repairs to take place. We were notified today that early October was the first date available for these repairs. This is two and a half months after the original installation and almost a full year since the original quote.
