Complaint Category: Failure to provide promised assistance or support for products or services

Complaint: Promised us renderings of our renvovation with deposit of $300. Offered blueprints for work that doubled our budget. Refused to give us drawings or $
Salesman arrived at our house. Listened to what we wanted to achive, Ie: sunroom as addtion to our kitchen and fixing the front of our house. Asked us to give him $300 dollars for Architect drawings, which would be ours to keep. We abliged and we were to meet follwoing week. When we arrived at their location, we were shown drawings that were not we were looking for. And we asked the contact to change the drawings. ********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************* 30 minutes later he returns with our sketches, and says, "this will cost closer to 65k" doubling our budget. *********************************************************
If he could not fulfill our needs, he should have said no. and not bring back an offer that was so far fetched. We asked for the drawings, and he said no they were Archadecks property. We asked for our money, and he said no we signed for it, even though he had promised us the pictures of the renovation.

This company: ***** moeny form us, ******** about their services. ***********************************************************************************************

Initial Business Response
We have processed a cheque for $300.00 to *** ****. It will be mailed today - February 4th, 2014. We apologize for the misunderstanding and would have welcomed the opportunity to resolve this issue with Mr. **** prior to involving the BBB.

Complaint Resolution: Company resolved the complaint issues. The consumer acknowledged acceptance to BBB.
