Dealer will not warrenty/replace brake pads seized to rotors heat damaged, brake system -lines, hoses & parking brake bad 24000km.
********** service/warrenty 24000kms. ********************. Inv #****** $161.02 debit. Dealer called to indicate that the break pads worn unevenly seized rotors heat damage would be apprx. $850.00 for repairs of same. Declined service for second opinion as dealer would not replace. At pickup dealer had waiver attached to invoice to release dealer of any liability, car unsafe to drive. Requested service manager only sales manager available did not sign waiver. Spoke with customer relations *********************** would not cover under warranty replace at dealer expense. Discussed premature wearing not reasonable nothing dealer willing to do.

Desired Settlement
To have all defective brake system parts replaced inclusive parts and labor by dealer at no cost to self. Another vechicle to drive during repairs.

The above mentioned parts are covered for 1 year or 20,000km it is clearly stated in the warranty manual " wear item ( belts, brake pads and linings, clutch linings, bulbs). We stand behind our warranty but in this case the vehicle was purchased *********** and the mileage is 24558, the customer is outside of the warranty parameters both by time and mileage, therefore the customer is responsible for the repair.

What about the seized rotars and brake system - lines, hoses and parking brake stated/indicated clearly on ******* vechicle inspection report attached to invoice ******? Requesting to have all replaced including all labor and replacement vechicle during installation/ servicing. This vechicle has been parked since inspection date at a hugh inconvenience and expense.

Final Business Response
Once again I repeat, pads and rotors are covered for 1 year or 20,000km if defective from the in-service date of the vehicle. The in service - date is *********** and the mileage is 24558. This will be customer pay we stand behind our warranty, ************** has already stated they are not covering this and the dealership will not be covering this either.
