    I received a letter from Paragon, dated October 27, 2021, stating that I will be charged $25 a day if my garbage can sits outside of my garage. The day I received the letter, I emailed our neighborhood contact, *** ********, and informed him that I brought my garbage can inside of my garage; therefore, it’s no longer visible. In January 2022, I went to log into my HOA account to pay my yearly HOA fee of $275, and my charges were $2000+. In complete shock, I looked at the itemization and see that I have been charged $25 a day on my account since October 27, 2021. I emailed our contact, *** ********, informing him of this issue and that I need the incorrect charges removed. Since then, he has only removed some of the charges, and my account still sits at $1275 to date. My HOA fee is $275, so I am now being incorrectly charged $1000. I have asked for the president’s contact info three times now, with no response. This is absolutely ludicrous that I am being charged for something that didn’t even happen. On top of that, getting responses back from Lou is impossible. This management company is the worst. Please help!

    This company is head of Cedar Brook Homeowners Association. In the past 2 years our HOA fees have increased from $250 to $275 and our community doesn't have any amenities and street lights are always out for months. They bully us for the smallest infractions and they sent out letters to my home ASSUMING the basketball hoop left in the street was ours since we are the only minorities. The letters stated they were going to charge us daily for the basketball hoop being out in the street, when it wasn't even ours. Recently we received a letter dated for 2-13-2023, stating that we didn't pay our HOA fees for the year 2023 and we were going to start getting charged daily late fees for the late payment starting 3-1-2023. When I called to question why I received the letter, because my HOA fees were paid on the due date in January, the Community Association Manager stated that the letter was sent out before I paid. My question is how was the letter sent out before the due date in January and why was the letter dated for 2-13-2023 if it was generated before I paid in January. Either this company is incompetent or prejudice because it seems that they keep on assuming minority families are committing infractions or not paying HOA fees.
