    If you have received a letter which claims to be from Payment Alliance International (P.A.I.) notifying you that you have won a monetary amount, be advised that the letter and the enclosed check are not from Payment Alliance International. P.A.I. has no connection in any way with any prizes, contest, or awarding of money and is in no way responsible for what has been identified as a scam. The letter's enclosed check is COUNTERFEIT and is part of a scam believed to be operating out of Nigeria. Do not cash or deposit this check. Also, DO NOT WIRE MONEY to anyone no matter what the claims may be for a prize.

    Please do not call P.A.I. in regards to this scam. Instead contact your local FBI Field Office and/or US Postal Inspection Service and report the scam attempt.

    On 09/13/2023 I entered a store in Bayonne, NJ to use their ATM, which is operated and regulated by Payment Alliance. I requested $200 from the machine and was approved. The machine charged me $2.50 for the transaction so the total on my transaction log was $202.50. Right after I was approved and waiting for the cash to dispense the machine shut off and the screen went black. I immediately alerted the two employees inside of the store and once they powered the machine back on their was an "out of service" message accompanied by an error code on the screen (I have time-stamped photos). The older lady called a younger gentleman who I assumed was an owner and he advised me to call the number on the machine ************** and I left the store without ever receiving any cash. I returned two hours later after an appointment and the error was still on the screen. Once I called the phone number and followed the prompts for using an ATM but not receiving any money, I was immediately forwarded to my banking institution ****** ******* I explained my issue with the ***** ***** representative and he told me I would receive a credit to my account. Fast forward to 11/07/2023, and my banking institution has now reversed the credit and said my claim was denied due to "proof" this company provided that the money was dispensed. I have never been able to submit any of my own proof and I want Payment Alliance to provide video proof from the ATM that can prove I NEVER received the money.

    Payment alliance ATMs are a scam. They force you to print your balance and then charge you for it $1. They force an additional charge for the withdrawal $1. So you not only get charged for the withdrawal charge of 3.50 then you get charged to get balance info with no option to bypass. Total charges were 5.50 to get my own money out of the bank. User beware!
