5/6/2016 One of the most frustrations businesses to deal with. I have been treated better as a private in basic training than the way that FKFCU treats its customers. Their daily cap is $500 which makes checking into a hotel with their debit/credit card impossible. I applied for another credit card with them, and was declined. I was approved with *****. So how come a credit union, who I have been a member with for 25 years declines me, but a bank that I have been with 1/2 that time approves me? Their fraud detection is hyperactive, to say the least. I live 45 minutes from Louisville and was declined several transactions there. This is not like they are in another state!!! It takes several calls playing phone tag to get these transactions unlocked, in the meantime, I go to my other credit cards. I would rather not add charges to a credit card, but I cannot use my debit/credit card. I cannot wait to leave that bank.

5/19/2015 In the past I had a checking account, savings account, and auto loan through these people. Ran into some issues with customer service but stayed until I closed my accounts after moving to a new area. I came back and decided to try one of their credit card products. Biggest. Mistake. Ever. It was like pulling teeth just to get the woman to start the application process. The entire time she kept asking me personal questions that have nothing to do with my finances. Finally this woman runs my FICO score and it comes back pretty good, but I was denied because my rating on their "internal score" wasn't high enough. It took ten minutes of prodding just to get her to tell me what exactly my rating on their system was, nevermind what that meant, or how they determined that rating. No offer for other products I may qualify for, no suggestions on how to improve this arbitrary "score", no nothing. "You don't qualify because my computer says so. Have a nice day." I have never been more humiliated or down right angered over a business transaction in my life. Fort Knox Federal Credit Union won't be getting a single red cent from me ever again.

8/23/2014 Obtained a car loan from this business and set up automatic payments through their web site. 2 weeks after I paid the car off, I get an email from their auto payment processor that my next payment will post on the following Monday. I called the CU twice and both times was told that the EFT wasn't something that they handled and that I would have to stop the transfers myself. Huh? I pay my loan off and the bank doesn't stop the auto transfers? The apathy toward my simple issue was very evident and judging by the 2 conversations I had with these 2 employees, I'm sure it's rampant through the whole business. I will never do business with these folks again, even if they offered 0 interest.

Our apologies we did not meet your expectations during your recent calls to close out the automatic payments once your loan was paid in full. Our standard practice is to ask Members to cancel automatic billing that was set up online, but we are also working diligently to ensure these are stopped automatically once the loan has been satisfied.
