Complaint: Hi, When talking with Mr. ******** via phone on 5-07-12 about a 1995 Ford E350 Truck was quoted a 4000.00 price, also saw an advertisement on ********** for 3997.00 on April 25th. Went to Louisville next day looked at truck and made the purchase with the stipulation I would have to return to pick up truck on Thursday the 9th. Said we would finalize paperwork when picking up truck. With tax,title, and license total would be 4827.17 and I wrote check. Picked truck up on the 10th and drove to Lexington. When reviewing paperwork after i got home, was charged 4275.00 for the truck plus tax,title,and license. Called Mr.******** and was told I was mistaken and he could not possibly let the truck go for that. When questioned about the ********** ad Posting Id: 2978007344. Mr. ******** said they had put extensive work into it since then.

Desired Settlement: To be treated fairly... Thank you

Business Response:

I have contacted Mr. **** to resolve the pricing discrepancy stated in his letter dated May 13th.  Our conversation proved to be productive as we were able to resolve his concerns.  An agreement was reached to refund $200 of the difference, along with an apology for the inconvenience.  He seemed pleased with the handling of this issue and indicated he would send a positive response to the Better Business Bureau.   

As always, I appreciate the opportunity to remedy the problem and redefine the customer’s experience.  Going forward, I hope Mr. **** will keep us in mind for his future automotive needs.

Thank you all so much in your efforts to assist me. Clearly without your involvement there would be no compensation at all.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 9037088, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.
