On 2/19/24 I purchased a GE Profile fridge from ****** and paid $2720 plus tax. It was delivered and installed within a week. Within 2 days I began reporting it wasn’t working correctly. It was making a loud buzzing noise, not consistently and for no apparent reason that I could determine. GE has sent techs out 4 times. At all visits the techs can’t duplicate the noise. One replaced a fan and claimed that would resolve the issue. Within 30 minutes of him leaving the noise started again. Another tech has been here twice, he has limited English, hooked his computer to the fridge, said the computer shows no issue and left. I played 3 videos for him so he could hear the noise and where it is the loudest yet his computer told him there was no issue so he left. His most recent visit was 4/15/24. Another tech came out a couple weeks ago and adjusted the drawers. Within 15 minutes of him leaving the noise began. I immediately called him and he said he could hear the noise but he was already too far away heading to his next appointment. I contacted GE after the last tech left yesterday, sent 3 videos and was told someone would listen to them. In the meantime, the fridge is still making the extremely loud noise and is not working as intended. The rep told me the tech said the fridge is functioning correctly because he didn’t hear the noise though I played 3 videos for him demonstrating what it does. I want this situation resolved. The fridge is not suppose to make such loud noise. It generally starts doing it in the am and by the end of the day it’s really loud. There is no pattern or consistency. I’m not a tech and can’t explain it. I want this resolved as I spent a lot on it.
