Complaint Overall my experience with customer service has been terrible. From response time to helpfulness, I have dealt with a lot. 04/11/2016 I placed an order for a pair of shoes. The shoes arrived a week later. Upon arrival I tried the shoes on and they did not fit around my calf. I contacted the company by submitting a ticket stating that the shoes did not fit around my calf and that I would like to return the shoes. I received a response stating something to the effect of "aww you just need to loosen the laces". I replied that I had already tried that and that my intention was to return the shoes and purchase another before I went on vacation. I didn't receive a reply so I sent in another ticket. I had to threaten to make a complaint just to get a reply from them. Needless to say I was unable to return the shoes and get another pair before my vacation. Upon my return I saw that I had received a return label in my email. I packaged the shoes and sent them back. I contacted them again via chat to ask when I would be receiving my refund. I was told that the email would explain everything. Recently I received an email that the shoes had been received and that it would be credited to my account. Since then I have tried to log on to my account and contact them twice because I do not want a credit. I just want to be done with this company and get my money back. I have been going through this with them for over a month now. On top of all of that when I log in to my account my shoe order does not show up so I am unable to start a ticket. I have to submit my question through chat. I have done so twice and have not received a reply. All I want is my money back so that I can be done with this.
Desired Settlement I just want the money I paid for the shoes returned to my bank account not my make me chic account.

Really sorry for this experience, the system was down for a few days and the tickets were not responded to in a timely manner. I did in fact review your tickets and I do see that the shoes arrived to the warehouse a few days ago 5/12, the refund was requested to go back on 5/14. It takes 24-48 hours for the refund to show up in your MMC account. We will take care of this and rush the refund dept to go ahead and just refund this to your card. Complaint Only received half of the items I purchased, which is 2 out of 4 I made a purchase for the first time from Makmechic.com of 4 items in total on April 29,2016 Order NO.: *********** All items were purchased with the same shipping method which was economy shipping 7-10 business days. Apparently my 4 items were not sent together and 2 of the items, Product Code: XXXXX and XXXXX were received May 5,2016 so I assumed my next items I purchased all together were sent out the same time, but I was wrong. My last two items Product Code: XXXXX and XXXXX did not come at all. I used the tracking number to keep up with my package and it was stated that only the shipping label has been created (they were both created on the same day and sent to FedEx). It has been like that since April 29th, finally after being patient with this company I called FedEx thinking it was an error on their part May 9th and they informed me no items have been sent to them yet from Makemechic! This same day May 9th I emailed their customer service, expressing my concerns and wanted an explanation. I let them know May 10th that I was disappointed and that I wanted my items expressed shipped to me since it was already late, and was never shipped out after my purchase. I also expressed that I would be contacting BBB and filing a claim if I did not receive my items within 48hrs. They told me could provide the package or issue a refund, and I made it perfectly clear I wanted my items but I wanted them ASAP because I was moving out of town, and any other compensation given like free shipping on my next purchase or 25% off. I did not hear from them regarding if they shipped my package or any updated information until May 12th after I emailed them and stated I expected my items to be here by May 13th by 5pm or I will be following through with my complaint. They responded by sending me the same generic message sent to me before,attaching a tracking number stating my items are on track to be hear next week. Which is ridiculous after I specifically requested my items in a rushed manner given this hold up is their fault. Makemechic was not cooperative, not good customer service. My items will not be here by May 13th so I ask for a refund for the inconvenience, and I still want to to keep the items I waited 3 weeks for

Want exchange or refund Order was on 11/14; Shipment notification e-mail received on 11/15; Order received on or about 11/19; contacted make me chic on 11/23 about issues; received reply with return instructions on 11/25; mailed from UPS back to make me chic on 11/29. All great response until that point. Now I do not receive replies on the status requests nor do I have a replacement pair of shoes.

Complaint I placed an order on 11/26/2015 and when order was allegedly delivered, I tried to contact company through customer service number and email. No reply I place my order on 11/26/2015 for 2 pair of shoes (Single Sole Lace Up Fringe Stiletto Heels) & (Peep Toe Laser Cut Thigh High Boots) order # XXXXXXXXX.My order was shipped and allegedly delivered on the porch on 12/3/2015. I have tried contacting the company on 12/4/2015 through email and customer service line with no prevail. I just would like to know what is there procedure for misplaced/lost packages.They sent an email with a link to click if you have received your package or if not but the if you have not received your package does not have a link but a statement to wait 24-48 hours then contact company, I did just so. I have contacted UPS to a claim but they said the company has to file claim.

Business Response Customer got into contact with us 12/04/2015 on SupportFu ticket #XXXXX stating that she did not receive her package. We corresponded back and forth informing the customer of UPS tracking once more in hopes it was just a simple miscommunication as well as asking the necessary questions of information needed to move forward with a claim with UPS. 12/08/2015 we filed a claim with UPS which take 8 business days to receive a result from them. Those 8 business days past and UPS stated that they were able to locate the package and delivery to the customer's shipping address. That same day 12/15/2015 I spoke to the customer and she stated that she had still not received her package. I personally got into contact with UPS and informed them of the situation and they stated that they will need to reopen the claim once more which will take another 8 business days. We are now on the 6th business day and even though I gave them a call to check the status earlier today in hopes it could be resolved sooner it can not. We have to wait the 2 business days left to give them the time to finish their investigation.

Final Consumer Response I have yet to recieve a status on my refund/claim after I spoke with a rep from makemechic on 12/15/2015, that was the final communication I had, I have emailed them on two more occassions in January 2016 with no response and UPS states they are waiting for a response for them to move forward with the claim process.

Complaint Horrible customer service from associates as well as the store manager. Order number: XXXXXXXXX I ordered 2 shoes and jewelry with the company on January 22nd,2015. Order showed I should have received it by Thursday January 30th 2015. On the 30th I checked the UPS tracking to see it was on scheduled to be delivered to me. Once I got home around 730pm my time there was no box. I was on the phone over 3 hours with UPS because my box from MAKE ME CHIC wasn't on the truck. I demanded that the box was sent to my job for the inconvenience I went through. I emailed MAKE ME CHIC about the issue early Friday morning. The store never responded to me via email nor did they call me. The manager (couldn't get her name when I asked) told me the issue wasn't there fault it was UPS, I said what if I never gotten the product when I gave them my car number for this very important order. She then had nothing to say, then maybe another 30 minutes or so the box came in to my job. The box was tampered, and one of the shoes was USED due to themarks on the bottom of the shoe. When I emailed and called back to address this new concern. I was told to take pictures, I took pictures and sent them. In the email I requested higher management to call me. No one called or responded. In the email I stated I would like to get a bigger size. I called back multiple times before they called I was hung up on and was on hold. I got a email on today 2/2/15 stating I can get the exchange but I would have to pay for shipping once they receive them they can send me the size I needed. I called the store spoke with whoever the store manager is, I stated why should I have to spend a DIME on shipping for me to get the size I need. The store manager or whoever she was didn't care, she didn't give customer service nor did she try to help. I requested the CEO or whoever that is over her to call me due to her LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE. She told me that couldn't happen and there's nothing she can do in regarding the shipping cost, or getting the shoes in time for my Graduation pictures I'm taking at 1230 on Saturday. That store has nice things but it has THE WRONG PEOPLE WORKING THERE!
Desired Settlement I want customer service, I don't mind sending the shoes back. I just don't feel I should pay for shipping if I didn't in the first place. I didn't order with them to receive poor customer service or USED SHOES!

Ms. ******** placed an order on 01/22/2015 at 1:41PM (which is after the 9AM cut off time so her order was processed the next business day) and we processed this order within 1 business day (although it states on our website under the terms and conditions that she agreed to, that it may take up to 3 business days to process all ground shipping orders). We shipped Ms. ******** order out using the shipping method that she selected, Free Shipping - Economy (7 to 10 business days) Total Shipping Charges: $0.00 on 01/23/2015. Her expected delivery date (based off of the method she selected) was between 02/03/2015 at the earliest or 02/06/2015 by the latest. She received her package well before that time. She emailed our company on stating that she got in contact with the carrier because she needed the items before the shipping time frame that she selected. She was very upset and did not allow us to explain the facts of her purchase. Shortly after she emailed us again stating that we sent her a defective item. We requested images and the defect but the customer provided images showing damage from the item being worn. Then she emailed requesting a completely different size. Since we do not accept worn items, we made an exception for her by accepting the return. It is stated in our return policy that we do not provide return labels. Since she wanted the item in a bigger size, she needed to return the item so that we can process a an exchange. We have extended our services and offered her a one-time courtesy.

Complaint Purchased a pair of boots for my daughter for Christmas that were worn 3-4 times and zipper on boot broke, requested a replacement Makemechic refused. Purchased a pair of boots for my daughter for Christmas on 12/8/13. Because it was Christmas the boots sat under the tree for several week. Daughter then wore boots 3-4 times and zipper on boot broke, requested a replacement Makemechic refused. Order number is XXXXXXXXX. I emailed Makemechic.com on 1/18/14 explaining the situation and the response from the company is that because she wore them they would not offer any type of refund or replacement at this time. I think this is very poor service considering they are defective boots.

I purchased these as a Christmas gift, therefore, the boots sat under the tree for several weeks. My daughter wore these a couple of times and then they broke.
