On Saturday 9/10/22 I got my car serviced at Midas *************************. I drive a 2021***** I came in because of loud squeaking in the brakes. I paid $323.31 for brake pads. The technician took my car for a test drive and stated the noise was coming from the rear. The technician proceeded with the service and removed my *** brake pads and replaced them with manufactured brake pads. After the service was done, I left Midas, and I continued to hear the loud squeaking in my brakes. I called Midas and I expressed to ***** that I could hear the loud squeaking still and he replied, "Don't worry, the noise is coming from the front". I asked why, did they change the brake pads in the rear if the nose was coming from the front. ***** could not explain. I asked for a refund and he declined. ***** stated the labor is already done. I then took my car to *** and it was confirmed by the *** technician that the loud squeaking was coming from the front pads. Midas shouldn't have changed my break pads in the rear, if the noise was coming from the front. I have documentation stating Midas changed the rear pads. I also have documentation from ***, that the noise is coming from the front. After *** repaired my front breaks, I no longer hear the noise. I'm requesting for a full refund in the amount of $323.31.
