Complaint
Refill Ink and chip resetter requested for Epson XP-850 printer. Product provided would not work for the requested model. Credit refused.
Product purchased on 9/25/13 (credit card Reference No. ******************) for $100.00. Order No. XXXXX

Desired Settlement
Desire full cash refund or credit issued to credit card. Supplier offered store credit which would be useless as they apparently do not carry the product.

Business Response
The items purchased are refill inks and resetter to refill the Epson XP850 ink cartridges. The refilling of those cartridges are not supported due to the complexity of the refills, and this is disclaimed on the website as follows:

ATTENTION! We don't have refill instructions for this printer at this moment.
We do NOT recommend to buy our bulk ink unless you know how to refill cartridges.

The products that were ordered do work, but successful refilling of the cartridge is required in order for the printer to recognize the refilled cartridge as there are internal sensors in the cartridge that look to see if there are air pockets. Air pockets are a result of non-proper refilling, so it comes down to whether refilling was successfully done, and per our disclaimer we do not provide support for refilling on these models. We regret the difficulty that the customer had, but its a function of the difficulty of refilling the cartridges. Other models we do support that are not as complicated.

We are not in the business of having unhappy customers, and whenever possible we bend our own rules to accommodate customers. Such as offering store credit, which was offered for this customer. Unfortunately the customers cartridges are not available so we understand how the store credit does not help for this particular printer, but we are planning on adding the cartridges for this printer in the near future.

Nonetheless, in a good faith response, we will be refunding the customer for this order.

Needed refill chip for printer hp hero 4.2. Their website provided chip that I ordered and did not work. Cust support said If I'd looked on another part of site I would've found chips to be non compatible. They were originally going to refund only for unused chips.After a few nasty emails they agreed to full refund less shipping.I wanted shipping included since this was clearly THEIR fault their software provided and allowed me to buy non-compatible chips.I realize this isn't much but if a multi million dollar company does this over a few bucks what would it do to business that spend thousands.The internet I learned is brimming with businesses that would fight to keep customers. Not this one.I shouldn't be out of pocket one penny.This is on order XXXXX

All I want is my shipping. They know how much it is. I also want their ceo ******** ************ to review my complaint and see if this is the direction he wants his company to go.There's quite a paper trail with this oreder number. I'ved been fighting with HIS company since mid February with something that should've been resolved in a few days.

Business Response
Refund per customers request. Also sending a set of free chips to customer so he can continue to refill them. It appears he had bought an old version chip that was not for his model, but new generation chips are available that work for his model.
