Multiple times per week, caregivers from this company are either late, or simply, don't show up at all. Managers do not call back on weekends.
My family has been utilizing this company for the last month for my 98 year old Grandmother that is now on hospice care. Multiple times, on a weekly basis, caregivers show up late, or simply do not show up at all. My family is given excuses from people at the office that the caregiver is stuck in traffic, then the caregiver shows up over an hour late for her shift, and she says she had car trouble. Staff will just not show up, as what happened again last night and this morning. Shift started at 2330 last night, no one showed up. I received a call at 0100 this morning from the office, and I sent my Mom, who lives with my Grandma, a text. She woke up at 0600, no caregiver present, and my Grandmother soaking in a stool filled diaper. Caregiver was to arrive at 0900, but arrived at 1015. There is no recourse for this type of unprofessional behavior and business practice. I called to speak to the manager, ********, at 0900 after I was on hold for 10 minutes, I was told that I would receive a return phone call from ********. I waited one hour. I called back around 1000 and waited on hold for 20 minutes before being told that I would have to wait longer for ******** to call me back because "we are busy". It is now 1131 and I have not received a phone call. One person has been professional at this company, and that person is ****. Unfortunately, he is not available on the weekends. This company is putting their clients in danger with their lack of concern. My Grandma could fall while trying to get out of bed and no one would be there. My grandma could get bed sores now because the staff is not there to change her. There is no excuse for this. The people, from the owners to the caregivers are endangering the lives of their clients and they do not make any attempt to make it right. In addition, my family is being charged for the hours that the caregivers are late and don't show up.
I would like the owner/owners to call me personally and discuss how they are going to improve the care they provide for my Grandmother. I would also like detailed statements of hours reported as worked and actual hours worked. If not accurate, I would like a refund. I would like someone to be held accountable for unprofessional actions by staff.
