Mother Denim has, for the last six months, advertised a product with the misleading notation sign up to be notified when they are restocked. I supplied my email address several times with no confirmation- I suspect its a dead link. After waiting 4 months, and requesting a gift card for the purchase in the interim, I was FINALLY told by them that the restocking is dependent on customer returns. This effectively means pretty close to never. I tried two other styles of jeans which were not acceptable and/or did not fit and returned them. The first pair of jeans that I ordered in the size I wear fit fine, but every other pair has been way too tight. One of them I ordered in a smaller size (which fits me fine in other makers jeans), so I returned them. But the next pair I ordered larger and they were as tight as the smaller size. It has now been six months waiting for the fabled jeans to return. I have twice requested a refund only to be deliberately misunderstood (Oh you can still sign up for them) and told not to worry, that my return has been received-two things I did NOT request info on. My issue is that MOTHER DENIM deliberately misleads customers by implying that something will be available when it has ZERO intention of restocking it. I have requested a refund -politely-three times now only to have my concern remain unaddressed in their reply. There is supposed to be truth in advertising- this is basically an elaborate bait and switch, and they so far have refused to refund me or to even directly acknowledge my request. I want to warn others before they lose their hard earned money to this deliberately obtuse and misleading business. I am also filing a formal complaint- which I warned them I would do, which was also disregarded and not responded to in their replies to me.
