I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with American Home Shield and their chosen contractor, Relaxed ********************************* I recently requested a service visit for my air conditioning system, which had been maintained by American Home Shield for over 15 years. However, the service experience I received was not up to the ***** and I would like to file an urgent and heartfelt complaint.The contractor dispatched by American Home Shield, Relaxed ********************************* informed me that my aging air conditioning system needed replacement during their visit. I trusted their expertise and the information they relayed to American Home Shield. Unfortunately, I received a rejection letter stating that my claim was denied based on the contractor's assertion that there were missing parts from the air conditioning system. This came as a shock to me, as I had no prior knowledge of any missing parts or indications of such during the contractor's visit.As a 55-year-old in poor health, I rely heavily on my air conditioning system to cope with extreme temperatures. I am deeply concerned that such vital parts could mysteriously go missing between the contractor's visit in 2021 and the recent inspection. I am in a vulnerable position and unable to afford a new system on my own, relying on insurance coverage I have been paying for over the years.Despite reaching out to both American Home Shield and Relaxed ******************************** for clarification, I was met with rude and uncooperative behavior from Relaxed ********************************* Instead of providing a clear explanation or investigating the matter, they displayed a lack of professionalism and refused to address my concerns.
