Small Businesses and farms are invited to join the Better Business Bureau, in partnership with Macatawa Bank to learn about the scams targeting small businesses and how to protect yourself. 

This free presentation will be held in Pullman, MI and is being rescheduled.

Join BBB® of Michigan, in partnership with Schoolcraft College, for a career fair designed to bridge the gap between local businesses and job seekers who have the training and skills employers need.

September 25th, 2025, at 4 PM at the Schoolcraft College Vistatech Center in the DiPonio Room, 18600 Haggerty Rd, Livonia, MI 48152.

Employers are welcome to purchase table spaces to personally meet their next employee. Table space is limited, so employers and community organizations are encouraged to purchase a table early.

Admission is free for job seekers, but registration is requested.

Our partners at Omni Community Credit Union are holding a free Shred Day & Food Drive in Battle Creek. Bring up to two boxes of documents for safe disposal.

They will be accepting old electronics, except for the following:

• Wooden stereo equipment
• CRT monitors
  
• Glass-screen TVs

The community is also invited to bring two or more cans of non-perishable food to support the Food Bank of South Michigan.

This will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at Omni Credit Union's location at 3141 Capital Ave SW, Battle Creek, MI. The event runs from 10am - 12pm
