I hired All Decked Out to build a fence for my home. All Decked Out never supplied a permit after they installed the fence.
All Decked Out installed my fence in mid May 2013. I wrote a check on May 19th, 2013 to All Decked Out in the amount $1,865. I paid All Decked Out even though I didn't have a permit in hand. The owner assured me that he had taken care of the permit. Since then I've received a letter from my neighborhood association that I don't have a permit on file for my fence.
All Decked out was suppose to provide, at no charge, a fence permit per the fence proposal. I still haven't received a permit from All Decked Out even thought I requested it at least 10 times. I've left numerous voice mails on owner's cell phone, but he's never returned my call. I never signed a contract; we worked off a bid proposal. I have a copy of the proposal and invoice, if needed.
I have to pay the LFUCG $50.00 for a permit. A $25.00 permit fee and $25.00 fine make up the $50.00 that I have to pay LFUCG to get a permit. I want a $50.00 refund from All Decked Out.

I am very sorry that this matter has occurred, I will take full responsibility for this problem, although there are several extenuating circumstances beyond my control that has contributed to this, I went Fri,11-08-13, after receiving this E-mail, and applied for this permit again, the second time, No one was available to do the permits, 11:45 they were gone to lunch, I was required to leave the permits for review, they should have been approved that afternoon, still no word from the city, after not hearing from them I called yesterday, 11-12-13 to check on the progress, according to the lady I talked to they were still in the folder waiting to be processed, I am at the mercy of the city planning and zoning at this time waiting for them to be processed, I will check on the progress daily until the permit is approved, but from years in the business,I can assure you, the more you call the less response you will get, the property owner needs to just wait until I can get this taken care of, there will be no fines to the homeowner I will pay for the permit and any late fees involved, but after reading the story about the H,O,A, of Masterson Station selling a woman,s house over late fees I can see where he is concerned, I have already been in contact with HOA, they know the situation is being resolved, again I will be responsible for any cost and fees, sorry again that this has happened, and will not happen again
