We built a new house in Kodak Tn, Blalock Ready Mix was hired by East Tennessee builders, *** ******* to pour the concrete for both our garages, attached garage 980 square feet and detached garage 1376 square feet. The floor was covered during construction, when the cover was removed the concrete had started to show spider webs in both garages in the concrete. We contacted the building *** ******* and was told that it was bad concrete from Blalock Ready Mix. My husband contacted Blalock Ready Mix and **** **** came out to our house twice 5/XXXXX & again on 6/3/2021 and stated that we did have i big issues but never offered to address the issue. **** **** did leave a concrete mix detailing what was poured. According the the mix, to much water was added to the concrete at the site when it was poured. We received 2 estimated to have the spider web covered up, 10 year warranty $11,191 with Premier Industrial Flooring and $20,961 with Garage 20 year warranty. This complaint is related to BBB case XXXXXXX filed with Blalock Construction Co. Blalock has agreed to pay half of the $11,191. We reached out to the builder *** ******* several times and he feels strongly that the concrete issue is bad concrete from Blalock. We are asking that *** *******, East Tennessee Builder & Pools pay the other half of the $11,191.
