On 2/20/2023 I had my 2022 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon Ecodiesel towed to the Friendship Jeep dealership in Bristol, TN after it died in Virginia. Friendship determined that it needed the entire engine replaced under warranty and proceeded with installing a new engine over the next ten weeks. During this time I was emailed and Friendship told me there was going to be a $700 labor charge for this warranty repair because I had some aftermarket offroad lights wired up. When I told them that I would come pull the wiring out myself they suddenly said there would be no charge after all. When I went to pick the Jeep up on 03/06/2023 I noticed it needed coolant and my front valve stem caps were missing. These issues were rectified and I was on my way. I should've looked closer because for some unknown reason they had also disconnected my front drive shaft and left it hanging under the vehicle. I only found this out when I went to shift into 4wd and heard a loud noise. I immediately stopped and got out to check and discovered my front drive shaft was not attached to the front differential. The manager has since told me that they didn't disconnect it but all four bolts were completely missing and the bolt holes were not damaged. The four missing bolts have thread locker from the factory and are their torque specs are high. There is no conceivable way that all four magically went missing all at once. Friendship is refusing to accept responsibility for this or pay for the components that were damaged by this act of gross negligence.

Salesman was great, business policies, not so much. Be prepared to spend extra here if you do not finance your vehicle through them. We paid cash for a car, and because they lose their "incentives", from the bank they use, they pass that $1000.00 on to the purchaser. I am in contact with the CFPB to find out if this is legal. It seems to me the "list price" is the "list price". Keep in mind, this car was not advertised with any rebates, and this was sprung on us by the salesman after we had agreed to purchase the car. You don't go to the store and get punished for paying for groceries with cash.
