It has come to the attention of the BBB that this company may be attempting to run an illegitimate lottery.
Consumers receive correspondence stating they have won a large sum of money in a lottery. A cheque for a few thousand dollars is enclosed and the consumer is advised to deposit the cheque into their bank account but, in order to receive the rest of their winnings they need to pay the taxes on the winnings through western union. The consumer then transfers the money through western union. In the meantime the consumer is left waiting for their lottery winnings. However, the lottery winnings never arrive and the cheque originally deposited into their account is verified by the bank as fake, and the consumer has incurred a large loss as a result of the money transfer.
