            I had home improvements done by Royal Home Improvement (RHI) over 2 years ago and so far I have felt with 5 different people including the president. Improvements were of poor quality and the 2 new bathroom cabinets had to be replaced during the original contract. My shower floor had to be redone and was completed less than a year ago and drain cover had to be fixed 2nd time as it came loose. The drain cover was screwed down but the cover material was cheap and it got dented while I was in the shower. The sub contractor was supposed to come and fix it several months ago and it he never showed up. My last contact with RHI was 6 or 7 weeks ago and they were supposed to send some other subcontractor to fix it have not had any response to my last email few weeks ago. The drain cover has become a CRITICAL SAFETY issue as the nearly had an accident in the shower when i again stepped on the drain cover and it is a little bit loose. I need it fixed ASAP.

            We did not have a pleasant experience with Royal. We signed a contract to have a master bedroom split into two smaller rooms, a kitchen remodelled and new floors installed in May of 2022. The job was not completed until May 2023. There was poor communication on their part - promises were made and were not met. The workmanship is poor, and there was little attention given to address our concerns until a lawsuit was threatened. Some unsatisfactory work needed to be removed and installed again. Further unsatisfactory workmanship will be up to is to replace. We are looking to have the bathrooms redone in our home and we will not be using Royal. Their poor work ethic and workmanship has made us weary of any future renovations or of trusting any future contractor.

            ***, we are sorry for your experience. Unfortunately, your project started shortly after the President of the company had passed away. Understandably, for a few months, we had some restructuring challenges that took away from the normal attention that each of our projects is afforded. As a goodwill gesture, we offered additional work at no charge, and even paid for you and your family to stay in an Airbnb while the major work was being completed. When Keith, our new Director of Operations, took over your project, he quickly managed each of the outstanding items and when he collected the final payment, your partner ***** commended him for quickly completing the project to your satisfaction.
