On February 2, 2022 at 11am, I called ringside to ask about a faulty product I purchased. I just had a question. I bought boxing gloves and the glove filling became crunchy. I'm not a boxer, I just took a few boxing classes for exercise and self defense. It was just a fad. But I called the company and **** answered. I could not hear **** because she had a very bad echo. Me: I'm calling because I bought a pair of Ringside boxing gloves and they became crunchy feeling. Is there anyway I can fix that? I can't hear myself talk because there's a very bad echo. Ringside (****): I can hear you just fine and I don't hear an echo. Me: That's great, but I didn't ask you if you could hear me. I said that I can't hear you because of the echo on your end. It's echoing because you're recording me and you don't have a headset plugged into your computer, you're using the computer to talk. Can you please stop recording me then it will not echo. Ringside (****): I CAN HEAR YOU, I DON'T HEAR AN ECHO. Me: Fine, I'll talk with the echo but it's hard to hear. Ringside: What is your order number? Me: I don't have an order number. I don't know. I just asked if there is a way to fix the crunchy gloves. Ringside: Where did you buy them? Me: I don't remember, they're ringside. They say ringside on them with Ringside phone number. I can't hear myself talk because the echo is too bad, is there somebody to talk to without an echo. Ringside: (Transferred to a manager's voice mail) Nothing was resolved. I didn't get to talk to anybody about the crunchy gloves. But most important is that Ringside is recording me without my persmission and **** nor Ringside gave the recording disclaimer at the beginning of the call. I can tell **** is working from home, but she doesn't have the proper computer set up. She has to fix it because she's not representing the company in a professional manner when she echos and records. Solution: Discuss the crunchy gloves. Replace? Repair?
