The Attorney General obtained a default judgment against MyCNGKit Inc. for violations of the Kansas Consumer Protection Act related to the internet sale of compressed natural gas conversion kits. The State of Kansas was awarded $35,000 in civil penalties and fees, and $19,466.29 in consumer restitution. The Attorney General entered into a consent agreement with Kimberly Johnson related to teh same KCPA violations. She agreed to pay #3,500 in investigative fees, in addition to injunctive measures regarding business practices.
