Description
The plan of operation of the business has been to enter into contracts with civic organizations, whereby the company agrees to furnish a certain number of cook books, and other publications to a sponsoring organization. The sponsoring organization assists in conducting an advertising campaign to be conducted by the company's advertising representative and a representative of the organization. The contract states that the company will furnish the sponsoring organization a stipulated number of publications from the proceeds of the advertising sales, the company shall receive and retain the first money as set out in the contract to defray cost of printing books and other expenses in connection therewith. The organization shall receive and retain a stipulated percentage of all money collected over and above the first amount retained by the company. The firm also prints publications for organizations on a straight fee basis.
