On 06/15/21, I signed an agreement with RC Jones for tax/bookkeeping services beginning on 06/15/21. 06/16/21 contacted by ****** for basic business information and my account was transferred to *******. 06/30/21 contact with ******* via text 07/01/21 I received an invoice for $375 I reached out to ******* twice in the month of July left voicemails and finally spoke with her on 07/20/21. At this point, I still did not have access to my quickbooks and my account had not been reconciled and I had not received any of the tax services outlined in the agreement. I reached out to ***, he confirmed that nothing had been done with my account. He apologized several times about the lack of communication and told me he would get my account up to date. 7/22/21 ****** contacted me, she promptly reconciled my account and we spoke several times that week. 08/01/21 I received an invoice for $552, $177/personal taxes (was not informed of these charges) $375/business service 08/04/21 I received another invoice for $375. I contacted ****** for an explanation, she contacted ***. He told her it was for June premium. My services were to start 06/15/21- the retro premium was for an entire month of premium, I should have only been charged $187.50 for services 06/15- 06/30/21 08/05/21 emailed and requested service to be cancelled effective 08/01/21 08/06/21 my request to cancel was ignored and my account was reconciled- last account reconcile was done 07/27/21 Reasons: retro charge for June when I received no service and being over charged for June, the amendment being done to my personal taxes with out my approval or made aware the amendment would cost. I hired RCJ with the expectations outlined the agreement and expected complete transparency when it comes to any new charges and any retro charges.
