    Worse company I have ever attempted to rent from and highly do NOT recommend to anyone. Not only are they racists and stereotypical from their company to those they outsource to (especially **************************), but I stayed in the home 30 days before receiving notice I needed to leave the premises. I should have known better after ******************* continued to question my identity starting 4/5/23, but I continued the application process because I know the neighborhood and never had to deal with issues renting before. On 4/12/23 I was informed I could move into the property 4/14/23 as long as I paid a full month's rent plus security deposit and purchase renters insurance. Fast forward I move in 4/14/23 and ask if there is a checklist to imperfections to the property and ****** says know to just write them down. On 4/14/23 around 6 p.m. I questioned whether the home was cleaned before I moved in and sprayed for pests as there was both mice droppings and ***** residue in the cabinets. ****** stated she did not know. On 5/7/23 after a doctors visit, the doctor made me aware the bumps all over my body were bed bug bites. I immediately reached out to the company and on 5/12/23 someone was sent out to evaluate. The exterminator from ******************************* told the individual I had at the home, due to me having to work that day, after spraying the home for roaches and placing mouse traps all around the home that he needed to write up his report, so that the company was liable for the infestation. I still have not received a copy of that report, but was instead told on 5/17/23 that I needed to exit the home permanently, no one will be sent out and IMPD was contacted because drug activity takes place in my home. What a way not to pay for the bed bugs and if the exterminator was as fearful as claimed, why stay and spray and lay traps and even talk to me after rendering services. Clearly the company is not BBB accredited.

    ****** reported that she had bed bugs and other insects. We sent an exterminator to the property that was contracted and not affiliated with our firm. They proceeded to treat the property and while he was treating, opened a closet and found a firearm and what appeared to be cocaine. They then left the property and reported to ** a few days later that they would not treat the property due to the drug activity. We reported the issue to local authorities once I verified the conversation with the exterminator. We have a zero tolerance policy when it comes to drugs and we provided the tenant with a 30 day notice to vacate. The exterminator will NOT treat the property due to fear of reprisal. I can not get another company to treat it because I would have to inform them that there is possible drug activity. She already stated she would move and was going to cooperate with ** as we have requested. The property was treated for roaches, spiders and any other insects at the first appointment. Again, the exterinator refuses to treat any further and I can not find another vendor that would be willing to even goto the property with the possibility of drug activity. We manage 250 units and have a variety of races in those units. This has nothing to do with race. It's simply trying to protect the property and our refusal to allow such activity in the units we manage. Our legal council is involved.

    As an organization you all are still unprofessional. After you all quote unquote stated there was a weapon and drug paraphernalia in the home, I could have been contacted on the phone to be made aware of the situation and what you all planned to do as far as next steps. I have no problem leaving the home as I received it and stated I will comply and leave. I have not stayed at the address due to bed bugs and I am licensed to carry for a lifetime in the ****************. A simple conversation could have a saved a lot of confusion in this situation, not to mention the text message I received stated " I hope you got rid of the rest of your drugs, so that you won't have further police involvement and hopefully you leave the home as you given it, but we will see." Not once have I threatened anyone or implied I would damage the property. You all made assumptions and still give tenants dirty homes end of story.
