Vocational Schools

If you are considering enrolling in a vocational school or training program, determine what kind of training is actually required and what the prospects of employment are. Learn if the facility will help you find a job and the percentage of students successfully placed, remembering that schools cannot guarantee employment. Find out the dropout rate as that is a good indicator of the quality of the program. Check to see if the school is accredited by a nationally recognized accrediting agency. Finally, make sure all terms of the enrollment agreement and any financing agreement are fully understood and all oral promises are put in writing.
